Some Women Fear The Fire. Some Women Simply become it.
In India, Shakti is the Goddess of feminine energy. This feminine energy Signifies power in the form of beauty, love, compassion, empathy, endurance, protectiveness and yet is also fierce and aggressive at the same time. Each woman on this planet is a magnificent combination of the female Goddess Trinity - Lakshmi, Saraswati and Durga. But who stops a woman from being the Goddess that she is meant to be?
When asked this question, to my mentor 'The Lady who is very special to me" my role model related it to her journey and said "Blame it on our traditional societal fabric. We have an entire generation of women who are told they can do it all and be it all. But while we are going after it all, we carry the traditional roles, the roles of mother, daughter and wife along with it. For many of us, this has not been our greatest joy, but had also become our heaviest baggage. As a result of constantly fulfilling everyone else's needs, we have stopped living life that is unique, passionate and true to our souls. It's time to embrace our womanhood and realise the potency of what it means to be a woman. Women are ultimate created, who have the power to lead, manage and create everything that they want and impact the world".
With this very belief, my Mentor has committed herself to nurturing, honing and unraveling the limitless-ness in women in her team who are ready to unleash themselves and reach their truest, highest selves.

ReplyDeleteSelf confidence is the key to success in all walks of life irrespective of the gender, more so for a women in our country, reason being, on one hand where some of our (so called) traditions still expect women to only cook and stay indoors, and on the other India has the highest number on female pilots in the world (cheers to that).
More and more gals are breaking their shackles and aming for the moon.... More power to you'll
